Sam befriends a cat named Sally and he starts to become part of the cat`s family. Sam grows up and protects all of the cats in the litter while also attempting to find his own family. This story talks about acceptance of the differences between others and that love does not have to come from blood. Sam still loves his dog family but just has the opportunity to gain a cat family too. The story is a cute combination for dog and cat lovers alike.
