Cosplay at Comic Cons and Halloween allow us to become a super hero, movie or tv star, or whatever our heart desires. When a forty year old man jumps up and down because he got to fist-bump Baymax, you know you've succeeded in increasing happiness in the world.

Years 2015 to 2019
Our family has hosted a Comic Con Cosplay party before and after the actual Comic Con in St. Louis, Missouri. Before the Con, we have a full blown photo shoot for Cosplay Characters with multiple cameras and cell phones and have a large "everyone" picture for that year. We then pile in cars, enjoy the Con, and, afterwards, share pics everyone took at the Con, stories of who saw what, and what great purchases we all made. Our group pictures are shown below.

The Con is a great place to see Geeky items for sale and people who enjoy the same things as you. The Cosplays are one of the best parts of Comic Con. When you can take a picture with Superman, Scooby Doo, and Thor in the same location, it's amazing!
Baymax Cosplay
I Cosplayed one year as Big Hero Six`s Baymax. I brought a lot of attention to our group with the blow up costume. I fist bumped many people while saying Ba la la. However, my favorite part was when there was a line for people to hug me in the Baymax cosplay. Many hugged me and told me "I am satisfied with my care", an important line from that movie.
Hair Dresser Friend
We went to a Party Store and bought a wig but the wig was on the wild side. One friend wanted to use a black wig for Nightwing Cosplay. A different friend is a hair dresser and helped him with the wig. She asked him to put it on and she would style it for him the way that he wanted it to look. The wig transformed from crazy hair going everywhere to a stylized and proper look of Nightwing.
