Renaissance Faire 2018

Saturday, September 15, 2018, we went to the Renaissance Faire held at the Wentsville Rotary Park near St. Louis, Missouri. Family and friends cosplay pictured below!

The Trick Axes

Two family members and a friend decided to try to swing axes and hit a target at the Renaissance Faire. My brother went first, hit above the target with his first ax, and another ax hit but did not stick. Our friend went second, hit the board, but didn`t stick for the first ax. The second ax hit the board and made my brother`s ax fall off the top of the board. My brother`s ax fell on top of our friend`s ax that stuck. The axes stayed put on top of each other for a while. The men working the booth cleaned the targets after pictures of the trick shots were taken. Then, it was my Dad's turn. He threw three axes and all three stuck to the board inside the target area. He was asked to join their team afterwards for doing that well. He did such a good job for never having done ax-throwing much before in his life.
